チアゾリジンジオン系薬剤中止後の黄斑浮腫

Avadia(一般名：Rosiglitazone、本邦未発売)であり、ピオグリタゾン（アクトス）の話ではないのだが、“We recommend that ophthalmologists consider discontinuing glitazones in consultation with the diabetologist before embarking on interventional management such as laser or intravitreal injections.”ということ

アクトスの添付文書でも“(糖尿病性)黄斑浮腫が発症または増悪したとの報告がある。視力低下があらわれた場合には黄斑浮腫の可能性を考慮すること”とあり注意が必要だろう。
