Mirtazapine(Organon & 明治製菓)、 escitalopram（Lundbeck & 持田製薬）、 venlafaxine（Wyeth)と sertraline(ジェイゾロフト錠)が有意に、以下の薬剤、duloxetine (odds ratios [OR] 1.39、 1.33、 1.30 と 1.27、 fluoxetine:プロザック(1.37、 1.32、 1.28　と 1.25)、 fluvoxamine：デプロメール・ルボックス (1.41、 1.35、 1.30、 と 1.27)、 paroxetine：パキシル(1.35、 1.30、 1.27 と 1.22)、 reboxetine (2.03、 1.95、 1.89、 と 1.85)より有効

Reboxetine は、他の検討された抗うつ薬にくらべて有意に有効性が少ない

Escitalopramとsertralineは受容性について最良の特性をもち、有意に、duloxetine、fluvoxamin、paroxetine、reboxetine、venlafaxineより中止例が少ない。
